Classes Continue

Two new classes have been scheduled. $15.00 each

I am having a new class this Wednesday, March 5, at 6:00. This week we will be using quilling strips to weave a basket and then weaving the strips to create a handle. (The following week we will be folding a basket since you shouldn't keep all your eggs in one basket.) This week we will also be making a 3 dimensional card holding a cross(created similar to a round braiding technique). This card will make a special Easter card or Sympathy card and later may be used as a home decor picture. It is hard to see the dimension here but the ribbon on the edge is 1/4 inches to give you an idea of the thickness. You will each get to keep a 5X 7 stencil with an ivy background.

The next class will be the following Wednesday, March 12, at 6:00. We will learning origami techniques. We will get our fingers limbered up by creating a couple of fold-a-lopes(letter and envelope in one) first. We will then do a simple basket and finish with a few mini tulips and a vase. The vase is challenging but we will give it a try.

If anyone is interested in origami boxes, there will be a class soon.

If anyone is interested in Sunday afternoon classes, please let me know. I am willing to do at least one a month. I would love to teach some more classes with Outlines Rubber Stamps--the new catalog is available.

Please post a comment on my blog so I know you're checking it out.

Hi Sandy,

Loved the winter cards you did. Would love to see some more theme cards like that. And I'm really in need of a set of generic birthday cards. My supply is running low. Although the month of March is pretty booked up for me April is open so I'll look forward to see what classes and kits you'll have available.
